(1) In the course of the investigation, if it is decided not to prosecute a person for holding a person's property, account, passport, or any usual detention given on his behalf, the head of the department shall release such detention within seven days of the decision.
(2) If the accused is acquitted by the court in a case filed in accordance with the Act and there is a decision not to appeal against such acquittal, the suspended account, passport, property and transactions of such person shall be released within seven days from the date of expiry of the appeal period.
